About The Department
Department of Computer Science Established in 1998, the Department of Computer Science has been at the forefront of imparting quality education in the dynamic and ever-evolving field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to nurturing technically proficient, innovative, ethical, and socially responsible professionals who are well prepared to address the emerging challenges and opportunities in the technology-driven world.
Over the years, the department has evolved into a vibrant centre of academic excellence, technological innovation, and holistic student development. With a strong emphasis on quality teaching, modern infrastructure, faculty expertise, and experiential learning, the department continually strives to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. About the Club
The Code Crafters Club is an innovative student initiative of the Department of Computer Science, established with the aim of nurturing technical talent and fostering a passion for technology among women students.The club serves as a dynamic platform where students can go beyond the classroom curriculum and explore the real world of coding, software development, and emerging technologies. It encourages students to learn, create, collaborate and innovate through hands-on sessions, workshops, hackathons, and expert talks.With a strong focus on practical learning, teamwork, and career readiness, the club bridges the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. It also promotes ethical use of technology and uses technical skills for social good through community outreach programs like digital literacy drives.The Code Crafters Club is guided by the faculty members of the Computer Science department and managed by students themselves, providing them with leadership opportunities and a sense of responsibility. It aims to build a strong tech community that inspires curiosity, supports continuous learning, and empowers women to become future IT leaders.
