Introduction

This report summarizes the activities and preventive measures undertaken by the institution to maintain a ragging-free campus in accordance with the regulations of the University Grants Commission and the guidelines followed during the academic year.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell

  • To create awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of ragging.
  • To maintain a safe and friendly campus environment.
  • To prevent incidents of ragging through monitoring and guidance.
  • To ensure strict implementation of anti-ragging regulations.

Preventive Measures Implemented

  • Display of Anti-Ragging posters and helpline numbers at prominent locations on campus.
  • Anti-ragging policy published on the college website.
  • Submission of Anti-Ragging undertakings by students and parents.
  • Orientation programmes conducted for newly admitted students.
  • Regular monitoring by Anti-Ragging Squad.
  • Anti Ragging week was observed in the college from 12th August to 18th August 2025.
  • Oath taking ceremony for students, poster making competition, Essay writing competition, workshops , awareness rally for students in the college were conducted in the college.

Monitoring Activities

  • Regular campus inspections by Anti-Ragging Squad.
  • Hostel monitoring during evening hours.
  • Interaction with first-year students to ensure a safe environment.

Compliance with Regulations

The institution strictly follows the regulations and guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission for prevention and prohibition of ragging in higher educational institutions.
