About NCC
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the largest uniformed youth organization in India, functioning under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Established under the National Cadet Corps Act, 1948, NCC aims to develop character, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens. It provides students with opportunities to contribute to nation-building while preparing them to become responsible, confident, and capable leaders.
Motto
"Unity and Discipline"
The motto "Unity and Discipline" reflects the core values of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). It emphasizes national integration, teamwork, self-discipline, leadership, and responsible citizenship. Through regular training, camps, and community service activities, NCC instills a sense of patriotism, confidence, and commitment to serving the nation while nurturing disciplined and socially responsible individuals.
Things which are considered in NCC service include:
- 18 Parades in a year and 2 parades per week.
- Adequate training in drill, First aid, Weapon training and Personality Development.
- Rural Services Camp.15th August and 26th January Salute to the National Flag by Cadets.
- Social Services like tree sapling and Blood donation Camps.
- Cadets Participate in different Camps such as TSC, RDC, NIC and CATC.
To develop disciplined, confident, and socially responsible youth who contribute positively to society and uphold the values of unity, integrity, and national service.
- To develop character, leadership, discipline, and courage among students.
- To create awareness about national security and defence.
- To motivate youth towards selfless service and community development.
- To prepare cadets to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

The NCC Unit conducts a variety of training programmes and activities, including:

- Weapon Training (as per NCC guidelines)
