Alumni Association

In keeping with the vision and mission of our alma mater, the Alumnae Association of the college strives towards “Empowering Women through Education” with its activities that seek to engage with the student community and society.

To keep healthy and conductive relations among college, current students and alumni.
To commit to the college's missions of lifelong learning, discovery and engagement.

To foster beneficial relations between College and its alumni that contributes to the growth of college and also the well-being of its alumni by leveraging the resources, talents, and initiatives of alumni association.
To advice, guide and support the association in achieving their respective missions and goals.
To coordinate activities for advancing the college's academic, administrative, sports, cultural, literary and research programs.

Objectives

JSS College for Women believes that Alumni Association will be able to contribute to the development of college and its alumni towards the improvement of curricula and program, enhancing networking, provision of material and financial support and career development among the alumni and also to fulfill the current ward's personal and professional goals.

The main goals of Alumni committee are:

To encourage alumni to maintain contact with the College.
To promote and support the Mission and Vision of the College and Alumni upliftment.
To Provide opportunities to Alumni to be involved in College activities such as graduation, lectures, scientific conferences, sports and cultural activities, curricula reviews, College linkages with industry.
To update alumni with the institutional developments

Protocol to be followed by the alumni:

All the students who were passed out from college are automatically considered as an alumni
Before leaving the college all the students should fill the registration form and should give proper email, contact details and phone number.
Update the profile of alumni when it is required
Alumni meet will be organized every year.
Reviews and feedback are collected from the alumni every year
Alumni meet report will be submitted to college every year after the meeting.
Role of Alumni Association Committee Members
Build productive and transparent contact with the alumni.
Update the contact details, other information and individual member contributions.
Influence and motivate the alumni community to maintain contact with the College and participate in programs
Contribute to a productive alumni group culture by means of a positive and constructive attitude.
To make all alumni to actively participate in committee meetings.

Alumnae Proposes to Engage In

Networking, Branding & Events	To build a strong linkage with all stakeholders i.e. Industry, Alumnae and alma mater. To maintain and upgrade the alumnae database. To host events through the Association with the objective of providing a platform for students and alumnae to interact with the best minds from all walks of life. To facilitate the conduct of the Annual Alumnae Meet.
Mentoring, Student Support & Scholarships	To build a robust mentoring ecosystem for the student community by engaging with successful alumnae. To provide mentoring with experts drawn from industry. To encourage students through scholarships.
Placements & Internships	To coordinate with the Placement Cell to provide internships and placements for students. To help the College build a database of potential recruiters.
Skill Development	To facilitate in building an ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurial talent on campus. To identify alumnae willing to mentor budding entrepreneurs. To help alma mater in establishing Skill Development Centres in emerging areas.
