About The Department
- The Department was started in the year 1988
- Physics is offered as one of the optional subject for B.Sc students with combinations
- Building Strong edifice of learning Physics that enables students to excel in the domain and contribute the development of science.
- To provide quality education in Physics through effective teaching, practical training, and innovative learning methods.
- To develop scientific temper, critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities among students.
- To encourage research aptitude, innovation, and lifelong learning in the field of Physics.
- To equip students with the knowledge and skills required for higher education, research, entrepreneurship, and employment.
- To instill ethical values, environmental awareness, social responsibility, and professional integrity through science education.
- To promote experiential learning through laboratory work, field visits, seminars, workshops, and industry interaction.
Objectives
- Providing the students with a broad spectrum of Physics course.
- Develop the ability to conduct, observe, analyze and report an experiment.
- Enhance intellectual ,computational , experimental communicational and analytical skills of the students.
- Providing modern techniques in Physics.
- Enhance the ability of the students to seek, acquire and process the data sources from library and internet.

- Assignment of mini projects on electronics to the students in group.
- Conducting rare experiments, beyond the curriculum for the benefit of advanced learners.
