About The Department

The PG department of Economics was established during the academic year 2002-2003. The department has a glorious record of completing two decades. The learned faculty members and their dedicated service have nurtured the department with healthy academic atmosphere and created research bent of mind among staff and students. The department has adequate physical infrastructure with the provision of spacious class rooms, seminar hall, and free access to internet connections. The department maintains computer lab with required software to build econometrics models.


  • To be a leading centre for advanced education in Economics and promote quality research in economics, nurturing competent and socially responsible economists.
