About the Department

Department of Geography was established in the year HEG (History, Economics and Geography) KEG (Kannada, Economics and Geography) 2008-09. There are few things that put programming in perspective and help students succeed in any field in the future. We update the curriculum every three years to adapt to the evolving technological requirements.

Vision

“Propelling environmental and Geographical issues to the fore front”.

Mission

  • Embedding Physical & Human Geography in the Syllabus.
  • Creating awareness on the catastrophic results of Global warming
  • Educating the relevance of Geography in 21st century within the context of curriculum design
  • Cultivating awareness among the society about the importance of Geoliteracy.
